well i finally watched the BSG mini and the first ep of the first season. it's very good, but i'm not squeeing over it yet. Apollo is very pretty. yes, i am shallow. i need at least one pretty person to admire in my shows.

in RL news, tomorrow morning my brother goes in for knee surgery. years ago he hurt his knee playing basketball and that built up scar tissue. so they're going in to remove it. send some good thoughts his way tomorrow morning, huh?

my head is killing me. i think after the 4400 goes off i'm heading to bed. can't believe the weekend is over again. *siiiiiiiiiiiigh*

I've found that BSG is not so much OMG SQUEE worthy (though it does have many such monets) but more consistently good.

I too watched S1 after-the-fact (though before it finished in the Us, because us sneaky Brits got it first!), and I don't think I was really hooked as such until midway through the season, when the story had developed a bit and the charecters had been fleshed out a little more.

It's certianly worth sticking with, imho.

what do you mean it's stretched horizontally? sometimes i have issue with S2 code not loading properly, but i don't know about any horizontal stretching. :/

I eamn that sometimes I have to scroll a whole page to the right to get to the actual entires. All "the jeswels" etc on the left have super strechy borders. Not now though.

Some kind of strechy weird thing with the actualy layout, not specific posts.

I've kinda just got used to it, figuring its ajyst a glitch at my end. Its happend owhen viewing my own LJ one time, but nobody elses apart from us two. Weird.

Sorry I'm lousy at responding to emails. I loved the intensity of the mini-series that I found the show to be lacking in. I did miss a few episodes which made everything really confusing so I guess I can say I hate it because thats not fair. I am planning on buying the boxed set so I'll give it a retry. Of course it might also be because the blonde chick who plays starbuck really really irritates me and it has nothing to do with the gender switching thing its just her as an actress.
