so i'm sure everyone and their brother has now seen the "ghetto" preview, but it got me thinking. will we have cold opens this year? i love the cold opens. i want the cold opens. it's the only spoilers i allow myself besides casting spoilers.

UPN is the only site i know of that did that. i wonder who's in charge of the CW one...

What is the "ghetto" preview? Is it spoilery? If it has any new footage or character spoilers or anything, I'll probably avoid.

I love cold opens, too. I won't watch them in the beginning of the season, but by ep 5, I'm so hungry for the next episode that I would wander over to the UPN site to watch what they had for cold opens. Often their videos would actually be shorter anyway, so it didn't make me feel too badly to do that.

Of course, I'm only spoiler-free for shows I care about. I've spoiled myself silly for Gilmore Girls and Desperate Housewives. The worst is when the ep stills are released on Paper Flower, it takes so much will power not to look at them!

umm...it has new footage, but it's not cohesive in any way. so no plot spoilers. there is a casting spoiler, but if you don't know who it is you won't know what RT has planned for the character. if that makes sense...

if you don't watch promos on tv, it's probably safe to say you won't want to watch this one. it aired on the WB during What I Like About You.

i'm only spoiler free for shows i'm crazy about too, but i don't go looking for spoilers for other shows either. if i happen upon them, i'll read them. *shrug*

It's hard to guess. We got them at UPN, but in terms of their dramatic programming, VM was the only game in town there. It's not like they had much demand for a cold open for Love, Inc.

I think a lot of the internet innovation that UPN had will be carried over to The CW. However, the cold open is something that would probably have to be offered for a lot of the CW shows, if they decide to do it at all. VM's place on the totem pole totally flips because of the network change.

I'm looking forward to the promo pics that come out because the ones shot for the other CW shows look very good. For some reason, it seems like VM's are some of the last to surface.

Heard about, as in that it exists? Yes. Seen it? No.

And I do wonder about that as well but I'm leaning towards a no.
