I LOVE Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. I did a happy dance when one of my friends gave it to me for Christmas. I liked Children of Men, but I don't get what all of the "ZOMG! It's excellent" hype is for. It was a good drama, but I don't see me rushing out to by it on DVD when it gets released. Slither was fun for me because the mayor was in the audience when I saw it at SXSW last spring. lol And of course, anytime I get to see Captain Tightpants, I am happy. ;)

i was reading the trivia about it and some of the people they were considering before Val and RDJ were just atrocious. i'm glad it was Val and RDJ because they worked phenomenally off of each other.

i really liked Michelle Monaghan too. i wish Shonda Rimes had cast her as Meredith Grey instead of Ellen Pompeo.

You and I tend to agree a lot about films and television. I felt pretty much the same way about all four of the above. I might give Children of Men four hearts, because I thought it was stellar, but the extreme darkness really got to me.

Also, because I know you were looking for suggestions of movies to netflix (I hereby verb that to netflick) earlier, here is the most useful page ever on wikipedia:

I figure if you continue to be like me, you see trailers for films and think "wow, I'd like to see that," and then if you do happen to miss them in the theatre, every time you walk into a videostore (or your netflix queue) you can't remember a damned one of them :-)

I am soooooo glad to see that you felt the same way about Pan's Labyrinth as I did. I saw it at Fantastic Fest last September and thought is okay, but everyone thought I was crazy because I said it wasn't one I ever wanted to see again. lol
